WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI – The conviction of a woman found guilty of child abuse was recently overturned due to a technicality in legal language, records show.

The Michigan Court of Appeals issued an order Thursday, June 16, reversing the conviction of Rhianna Nichole Bryant who was convicted of failing to seek medical care for her son after she allegedly tossed him over a baby gate onto a concrete floor.
