Protective Fencing has just expanded its Victorian operations base with a move to a larger warehouse in Dandenong. The move will allow Protective to maintain a more extensive inventory in stock to meet the growing demand for quality Australian-manufactured fencing products.  This Dandenong expansion will also enable Protective to deliver improved customer service and logistical support.  The company believes that the expanded warehouse will ensure on time order fulfilment every time, standard product ranges in stock and as an Australian manufacturer full product customisation within a very short time frame. The larger warehouse space will bring benefits for staff too allowing them to manage orders in a more streamlined manner. 

According to a company spokesperson, demand across Victoria for local products using Australian raw materials has grown by 30% in the last year alone.  Protective notes that the government’s “Victorian Industry Participation Policy” has played a big part in this demand growth and adds that it is important for building “reliable, quality and economical local supply chains in our own backyard, rather than importing products”.  For Protective, this locally made emphasis is a key aspect of its environmental policy as it seeks to reduce the carbon emissions created by the heavy reliance on importing products.  This means that customers can buy direct from the manufacturer confident that products “are manufactured to Australian Standards, supported by warranties and with superior environmental performance.” A spokesperson from the company said, "moving into our new premises was an exciting time for all of us here at Protective Fencing."  Protective Fencing is looking forward to helping you with your next project and encourages customers to drop by their new HQ at 42 Redgum Drive, Dandenong South.
