People from across Oxfordshire continue to send in photos of their beloved pets.

The vast majority of photos we receive are from dog owners but this week we are delighted to feature Diego, a 10-year-old cat from Sutton Courtenay.

Owner Abbie Gjoka has sent a picture of him next to a mug which says ‘The Boss’.

Carra Gale, from Abingdon, sent in a photo of her German Shepherd Cassie. She said: “Cassie came to live with us in early April 2020, just as we went into the first lockdown.

“She made living with the restrictions so much easier.

"She can tell when either of us us stressed and will come over to give you a cuddle and make you feel better.

"She’s super protective too so I always feel safe at home. She is such a good girl that we brought her baby sister, Cami, home in January 2022!"
