MINNEAPOLIS – The agency that runs US Bank Stadium is directing staff to look into a permanent security fence.

There’s been a chain link fence around most of the building since it opened in 2016. How much it will cost and who will pay for it hasn’t been determined. The Vikings have been interested in a permanent security fence for some time.

Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority Chairman Michael Vekich says federal Homeland Security Investigations has also urged that a permanent fence be installed.
